Shaker bags are cleaned by mechanical vibration. Construction favors flexibility, abrasion protection at contact points, and reliable mounting to the shaker mechanism.
- Media: Polypropylene, Polyester, Acrylic, PPS (Ryton), Aramid (Nomex), P84, PTFE, Fiberglass
- Top options: Strap/Loop/Hanger, Grommet, Corded Cuff, Ring Top, Finger Loop
- Bottom options: Disc/Plain, Wear Patch, Reinforced Hem
- Reinforcements: wear cuffs/patches, optional ground wire/tab
- Finishes: ePTFE membrane, antistatic, FR, singed, glazed, chemical-resistant
How to Measure
- Flat Width (FW): measure bag opening laid flat (in or mm)
- Overall Length (OAL): top to bottom (in or mm)
- Tube Sheet (Cell Plate): hole diameter and plate thickness (if used)
- Mounting: top style (loop/strap/grommet/etc.), bottom style, and any wear points
- Operating Conditions: temperature, moisture, chemicals, abrasion
